Principal Psychologist: Marta Arce Casas

Marta is a psychologist, passionate about neurodiversity and mental health, working collaboratively with people using an intersectional, holistic, strength-based, integrative, and affirming approach.                                                                            She is an ally and has experience working with people from the LGBTQIA+ community.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Marta offers psychotherapy for adolescents and adults and assessments for school-age children, adolescents, and adults.

At Sonar Psychology & Wellbeing our commitment is to support clients in achieving clarity, balance, growth, and a strong and affirming sense of identity.                                                                                                                                                      We offer a calm, inclusive and compassionate space and use an interactive and collaborative approach that adapts to the needs of each individual, supporting them to explore their inner world and experiences to make meaning, heal wounds and gain a better understanding of themselves, affirming their strengths and building the tools needed to chart their own path.

Areas of interest: Difficulties with mood, stress, and anxiety, social and relationship difficulties, emotional distress, trauma recovery, burnout recovery, building a strong sense of identity, thriving as a neurodivergent person (autism and ADHD), parenting support, and life transitions.

Providing neurodiversity affirming Autism, ADHD and Autism/ADHD comprehensive assessments.

Autism adult assessment (age 17+)

Therapeutic approaches: CBT, ACT, Compassion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused, and DBT, and I am currently working towards my EMDR accreditation. I have completed extensive training in trauma and complex trauma intervention skills, as well as therapeutic interventions for working with neurodivergent individuals.
