Rachel Plumridge Psychology

Rachel is a registered psychologist with experience working in acute mental health in the public health sector, as well as both the private and educational sector as a counsellor.

She has experience working with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, burnout, interpersonal issues, emotion regulation, grief, eating disorders, and domestic violence.                                                                                                                   

Rachel believes that building insight into one’s mental health challenges is vital to recovery.

She takes a compassionate, respectful, and validating approach to supporting clients to understand themselves while taking steps to modify challenging or unhelpful behaviours.

Rachel focuses on women’s mental health aged 18 - 69 however she also works with men aged 18-69 years.

Rachel’s therapeutic approaches include CBT, CBT for eating disorders, ACT, IPT, DBT, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing, depending on the client’s needs.
