Allay Occupational Therapy provides assessment, intervention, and consultation for people with difficulties in mental health, development, or disability. We support people from infancy through adulthood via client-driven individual and group therapy. Our therapy is individualized to your needs and can be provided in our clinic or in your home and community.
Occupational therapy is a client-centred health profession concerned with promoting health and well-being through occupation. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. Our team achieves this outcome by working with people and communities to enhance their ability to engage in the occupations they want to, need to, or are expected to do, or by modifying the occupation or the environment to better support their occupational engagement.
Allay will provide individualised assessments via observation, history taking, questionnaires, or profiling. These may be completed within your home, school, or community, or in our clinic. Together with you, the OT would then develop meaningful, targeted goals to increase capacity at work or in education, managing self or the home, relationships, and connection with your community.
Allay Occupational Therapy referrals are managed by Lauren Pattinson. Lauren will work to match you with the most appropriate therapist to meet your needs.
