Melanie Andrews - Samsara Psychology

Samsara is a word that refers to the cycles and patterns we all experience in life; in our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and responses to stress. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, despite their best efforts to change.

At Samsara Psychology, our work focuses on understanding these patterns with compassion and supporting meaningful, sustainable change through evidence-based psychological care.

Mel works with teenagers and adults, offering a warm and collaborative approach to psychological wellbeing. She has particular interests in supporting people experiencing anxiety and panic, depression, attachment and relationship difficulties, identity development and self-understanding, mood disorders, and PTSD and complex trauma.

She provides neuro-affirming support for neurodivergent individuals, creating a thoughtful and validating space that honours diverse ways of thinking, feeling, and being.

Her approach is integrative and tailored to each person’s needs. She draws on evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Appointments are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays with Mel.
